Totoro hiragana board brings education and whimsy

So you've been wanting to learn Japanese, but how exactly do you go about it without becoming entirely too dismayed and unable to remember all that tricky hiragana? Well, the Totoro hiragana puzzle board might just be able to help you out!

Sure, it's designed for children, but who says you can't be young at heart? The puzzle board features Totoro imagery on each piece to remind the user of what each hiragana stands for, letting you learn the language visually. And plus, it's Totoro, how can you not like that? The board goes for $12.00 but I'm not quite sure it's worth that just to learn a handful of hirgana, though I suspect you're most likely paying for the Totoro branding.

Of course, the "adult" in me might be hesitant to buy a children's language toy in order to learn Japanese, but then again, with all that studio Ghibli goodness, how could any of us resist? Oh, the conflict!
