Tsurezure Children anime adaptation to hit this summer

4-Koma Summer Lovin'

Tsurezure Children, translated as "Tedium Children", is about the different love scenarios of a large cast of high school students, will receive an anime adaptation that will air in the summer season of 2017. Originally a 4-koma (Four panel comic) webcomic by Wakabayashi Toshiya under the name "Wakabayashi Toshiya's 4-Koma Collection" in 2012, Tsurezure Children will be adapted by Studio Gokumi, who has worked on shows such as Kiniro Mosaic, A-ChannelYuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru, and this season's Seiren.

I remember enjoying this one a lot when I first read scanlations of the webcomic years ago, since I am really fond of manga and anime romance. The 4-koma format worked well for getting to the good bits of the romance and built up nicely as the stories went on. Though I had a bit of a hard time keeping track of everyone's occasionally interweaving stories because of the large cast of characters had very similar character designs. Seeing a few of the characters in color in the promotional art makes me happy that I will be able to enjoy the stories better now that I can tell them apart. I sushi you!
