Ultraman prefers Hawaii as a vacation destination

And so should you, apparently

Japanese tourists love Hawaii. I can't blame them, it's lovely, but part of the reason is surely its proximity to Glorious Nippon, making it an easy port of call for tourists who don't want to go too far. Hence the thriving tourism trade between Japan and America's favorite island chain.

Of course, growth is always desirable, so agencies are always looking for boosters to attract more travelers. And the latest candidates to make Hawaii look like the place to be on holiday? Ultraman. Yes, the Ultraman.

The latest Ultraman to grace Japan's airwaves, Ultraman Taro, has opted to take his family out to the land of sun and sand, in cooperation with the Hawaii Tourism Authority. Thankfully for mankind, they decided to film their adventures in a series of commercials available below, as well as chronicling more on the internet.

They even brought along their mortal enemies, Alien Baltan and Pigmon!
