Updates on the New York Anime Fest and Death Note day

Just wanted to mention real quick that they've recently put up the schedule for panels, screenings, and concerts over at the New York Anime Fest website. So, while you're busy entering to win our tickets, you can figure out what you're going to see while you're there. Gia and I may wind up on a panel or two, so be sure to look out for us.

Also, to celebrate the release of the Death Note live action film, Kinokuniya is going to be having a Death Note day, where you can get free stuff, watch the movie, and even buy it a few days before it hits most major retail shelves. It's similar fare to the other events that they've held there, like the Gothic-Lolita day that we previously covered.

I'm glad to see more events happening in New York City, even if I'm not too close to there at the moment. Normally, everything is relegated to San Francisco or other parts of the West Coast. But hey, now we're getting PAX up in Boston! Excitement and glee! We need another major East Coast con. C'mon guys, I know you can do it. How about down in Miami, so that it's balanced out along the Eastern seaboard?

Also, did you know that Light is even more protective of his sweets than L is?
