Vic Mignogna joins Japanator staff as Associate Editor

Our constant office visits, phone calls, bribes and various other "under the table" negotiations have finally paid off as famed voice actor Vic Mignogna joins the Japanator editoral staff. Best known as the voice of Edward Elric in the anime Full Metal Alchemist, Vic will cover the anime convention beat for us, as he's already at all of those events anyway.

Under an exclusive agreement between his agency and the ModernMethod Network, Vic is to be paid solely in mock autograph fan sessions. Once a month, the Japanator staff will stage a mock fan panel where we fawn over the 47-year-old multi-talented star, begging him for autographs and hugs, squeeing every time he speaks. Within the terms of our contract, one staff member is required to offer up their chest for an autograph each month.

Be on the lookout for upcoming stories and features from the man himself in the coming weeks.

Vic, welcome aboard. You'll have to do a role for us in our upcoming anime.
