Viz launches All You Need Is Kill rebrand, graphic novel

Trying to capitalize on Edge of Tomorrow adaptation

With the live action adaptation of All You Need Is Kill (rebranded as Edge of Tomorrow) set to release on June 6, Viz's Haikasoru line is preparing to capitalize on the blockbuster film. They'll be dropping an updated version of the book, rebranded as Edge of Tomorrow and featuring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt on the cover.

The book will retail for $7.99 to target the mass market paperback crowd. It'll hit shelves April 29th, a month and change ahead of the film's release.

And on May 6th, Viz will push out a graphic novel adaptation of the book, retaining the All You Need Is Kill title. It's written by Haikasoru editor Nick Mamatas, with artwork by Lee Ferguson (Green Arrow). It'll retail for $14.99. An eBook version will be available for most major devices at $8.99 a piece.
