Wolf Children to be screened in LA this Friday

Yeah, it's a furry love story.

For those of you in the Los Angeles area, Mamoru Hosoda's animated feature Wolf Children will be making limited theatrical run at the Laemmle Town Center 5 on September 27th, courtesy of Tugg Inc. It should be noted that the film will not be subtitled, and will instead feature the English dub. Tickets can be purchased online by clicking here

If you're not already familiar with the film, Wolf Children brings us the tale of a woman named Hana, who falls in love with a Wolf Man -- sort of like the guy from Teen Wolf, but not nearly as emo -- and ends up giving birth to a pair of half-human, half-wolf anthromorphs. I'm sure many of you are ready to stop reading right there, but bear with me, it's actually a pretty good film. A tragic series of events shortly follows and the woman finds herself having to raise her offspring alone. It's a bit of a tearjerker.

If you'd like to see the film screened in your city, click here for more info. Wolf Children will be available on DVD or Blu-Ray, November 23rd.
