Yotsuba&! tops Amazon Japan's manga sales for 2013

Evangelion 3.33 ranks as #1 Blu-ray/DVD

We've already seen what's been some of the hottest music this year in Japan, now let's turn our attention to everything they're buying. Amazon Japan released its listings of the top sellers of the year in just about every category.

Some of the items that matter to us:

Top Overall Manga: Yotsuba&! Vol. 12
Top Vol. 1 of a manga: Attack on Titan
Top Blu-ray/DVD: Evangelion 3.33
Top Videogame: Monster Hunter 4 for 3DS
Top PS3/360 Game: GTA V

Check out some of the other categories over at RocketNews, including alcohol, beauty products, and insect control. They've even gone ahead and translated some customer reviews, just to give you an idea of why the Japanese just fell in love with Friends.
